The Association Opportunity for the Active is a non-governmental organisation with 17 trainers and 72 trainees. The association was initiated on behalf of the inhabitants of Przygodzice Commune (central Poland between Wrocław and Poznań). Its main objective is to increase the standard of living of a local community. It also supports environmental protection, inclusion and integration, education, employment, culture and sports actions as well supports individual people and organizations which take similar actions. We support the activation of women’s profession through workshops, training, networking, which we give as part of dedicated programs, we help women build professional skills and competencies, so they feel that they have a real impact on their future. We want to release their potential because we believe in them and their strength. Our association works for disabled children and their families. We offer psychological and rehabilitative support for our pupils. The Association aims to initiate various educational actions designed to implement values and European standards, able to bring a new European dimension to the current context. Also, the association is concerned with ongoing communication and collaborative relationships locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Through the activities of the association is encouraged volunteering as a form of providing superior support and assistance and exchange of best practices. The concern for the development of local partnerships, regional and international led to the development of human resources within the organization with the skills and competencies in terms of teamwork. Association has implemented numerous projects for international partnership and thus its active members developed management capacity and skills related to educational projects. The Association promotes citizens’ mobility, runs joint study programmes and establishes networks, enabling them to become more active in the democratic life of their community. The social services department provides psychosocial support, job orientation services and career counselling, psychological counselling for persons, couples, families, groups and more. There is a special service to the school community, counselling to students, teachers and parents. Most of the adults have fewer opportunities in the labor market. In this project we will make a connection between NGOs, schools and the local community to be aware of social inclusion at people with a learning disability; involving volunteers, teachers, trainers, managers and the local community in a campaign to learn more about inclusion and integration, in this project, we can make them improve their social and professional behavior. This project will involve citizens from different cultures, improving the level of integration and give us the opportunity to enhance learning’ competence in the wellbeing of our educational world

Our organization has experience in a project dedicated to unemployed women. In 2019 we implemented the project “Common start in the business world” financed by European Social Found. As part of this project, we organized unemployed women entrepreneurship classes, accounting courses and computer training. Every year we run aerobics, Zumba and Nordic Walking activities. From time to time we organize dietitian consultations. Our NGO implemented language and computer classes for immigrants women from Ukraine to help them start the labour market. We attained in Grundtvig project titled “COLOR BLIND”- Roma beyond stereotypes it was a project that intends to break stereotypes against Roma women, using nonformal methods specific to Lifelong Learning Programme. Participants had a chance to speak about the Roma communities present in their countries, Roma’s rights, Roma culture and history and they tried to find together solutions in integrating Roma women into the society. 8 partner countries from Italy, Turkey, Polonia, Macedonia, Egypt, Israel, Georgia, Romania. The project took place on 05-11 April 2012 in Busteni – mountain resort in Romania. Our organisation staff consists of 17 people.

Barbara Szymanowska 11 years of experience in the implementation of projects financed from public funds, including co-financing from the European Union; thorough knowledge of the principles and techniques of evaluation taking into account the knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative forms of execution/research, school headmaster).
    • 3. Alexander Chlasta and Karolina Chajdziony- teachers of foreign languages – are involved in the conduct of language training
    • 4. Tomasz Nowicki -IT trainer

The staffs are people with years of experience and relevant qualifications and competencies, implemented in the past projects.
