European Innovative Society Association – EISA

is an NGO from Turkey. EISA aims to support individuals who will meet the needs of the global world, to provide opportunities through cross-sectorial cooperation, international cooperation, and solidarity activities, and to encourage individuals in this regard. EISA was established in 2020 by 50 Science, Maths, Language teachers, university science teaching staff, and education consultants to ensure the professional development of young people. Even though EISA is a new NGO, it has 200 active members and the number is increasing day by day. EISA aim to graduate young people (who are in the NEET category) as digitally literate, socially active, and skilfully employed individual for their sustainable communities.
In addition, it is among our aims to contribute to the development, integration, and well-being of disadvantaged groups and to promote tolerance, justice, and social responsibility in cooperation with other organizations and public institutions. EISA supports various projects, educational activities, courses, seminars, studies, and research on social, political, and cultural issues, and public activities. We actively support social and educational cooperation activities with educational institutions and international organizations to support migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and families, especially those with great social integration difficulties.
EISA’s main aim is to provide community-based educational opportunities for YOUTH ADULT and disadvantaged young people; train them to be committed to peace, democracy, and inclusion; contribute to nonviolent processes of conflict transformation in Europe by providing competencies, skills development:
Environment and Climate change;
Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Augmented Reality;
Renewable energy;
Health and well-being;
Creativity and Art;
For ensuring sustainable development of our community.
With its experienced trainers, active members, and skillful members, EISA promotes training and implementation of systems relevant to the support of the VET, adults, and young people. It cooperates with social sector organizations to promote policy changes and improvements to services. The scope of the association is to provide a flexible environment and non-formal education programs in various fields within the framework of lifelong learning.  It has oriented its services toward the main guidelines and priorities stressed by the European Commission. The main focus is given to skills training and initiatives that will enable people to be active in social and vocational life.

The fields of work to be carried out by the association, its forms, and fields of activity are as follows;
– Supporting entrepreneurship, providing entrepreneurship training, and increasing entrepreneurship awareness,
-Increasing active participation in social and economic life,
-Protecting the natural environment and promoting the use of renewable energy,
-For the protection of natural life; Conduct innovative research, using elements such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and art for this purpose,
-Supporting the green economy for sustainable development and conducting scientific research for this,
-Supporting sports for a healthy life and increasing the incentives for sports,
– Research and implementation of interdisciplinary studies for sports, arts, and development
– Supporting the refugees especially in Istanbul by working with governmental bodies and other NGOs. Organizing training events for refugees, especially about cultural integration and language support

  1. The Worldwide School Psychological Support in the Post-Covid Era

The main goal of our project is the promotion of school psychologists at the European level, this objective can be achieved only at the transnational level

 

  1. School Programme for Children’s Well-Being and Outdoor Learning

Our project is focused on youth between 12 and 17 years old who are motivated to live healthily. Through the project participants will gain more health, informal education, knowledge about different cultures, and knowledge about the different (healthier) active ways of life.

  1. Teaching STEAM through Urban Garden-Based Learning in the kindergarten

The aim of the project is to teach STEAM by using hands-on activities in urban gardens and integrating permaculture values.

  1. Stop trying to copy the PE training done in traditional schools online. Now is the time

to rethink and innovate in PE.

The project aims to address the challenges identified above by providing PE teachers with skills and competencies and young kids’ motivation with the attitudes and skills needed to participate in PE lessons online.

  1. Be aware Re-aware and Re-discover curiosity and connection in education through outdoor learning. (Pop-up Learning)

    We aim to gather experienced outdoor educators to create a virtual course that helps teachers envision and implement outdoor learning wherever they are. The goal is to support teachers in creating “doable” alternatives that “help everyone experience the things that they’re deeply missing about teaching and learning right now, which are those joyful experiences and kids being curious about the world.
  1. Teaching History for Disabled Students through Digitalized Gamification Tools

The overall objective of the project is to develop a course on understanding and teaching History through gamification to disabled young students, and teachers through gamification, and a blended learning approach.

  1. Creating a new way of improving the key competencies of adults

The main aim of this project is to extend and develop self – a directed learning platform in order to improve adult education in the six project partners’ countries and therefore, to promote a sense of belonging for adult learners who are at high risk of exclusion such as unemployed people by creating opportunities to practice personal, social and learning to learn competencies in an inclusive learning environment that naturally fosters self-esteem and resilience. The main objective of the project is to foster personal, social, and learning to learn competence among unemployed people and people with a low level of skills in order to foster employability and job searching opportunities

Supporting sports for a healthy life and increasing the incentives for sports.-Research and implementation of interdisciplinary studies for sports, arts and development In the COVID call, one of the projects accepted by Spanish NA was “Motivational Meditation Techniques for Favoring Memory and attention of Students with Visual Impairment”. In which we are responsible for creating a web platform for this project. As our associate partners and members (Pınar Gheylan who has a master degree in History and Mustafa Aydın who is working as an SEN teacher in Special Education School). have a direct link to the target groups we can easily access the materials and target groups. So, it makes us beneficial for the inclusion projects. Abdullah DOĞAN is 10 years experienced project manager and English Teacher. He studied at Kings College in the UK He studied at the University of London and has an MA in the field of clinical studies pf physiology. He studies PhD at Michigan State University in the department of applied clinical studies of physiology. He is PMP, Prince2 agile, CELTA, Level 7 global project management certified person. He is an official NFE trainer in SALTO YOUTH. He has the experience and expertise in 17 curricula development, career mentoring and language program development. He is the members of Global School Alliance and Global Mental Health Association, Heart4Earth International, UNESCO and UNICEF. He speaks basic Chinese, Italian, Spanish and French. He participated over 40 training courses in last 7 years. He is also Bid writer, open minded, creative problem solver, risk manager and process manager. 

Dr Murat Aydoğmuş is one of the Co-Founders of EISA. He has attended the training of the NAs and successfully completed many pieces of training, including Train The Trainers. He is also currently the coordinator of the Istanbul University EU and International Projects Unit. In addition, he has a doctorate in Educational Management, Planning and Economics. He has been actively involved in various projects for years and is currently conducting Sectoral Alliance and Horizon2020 projects at the University and conducting 18 Erasmus+ innovation projects. He transferred to university after teaching English at public schools for 13 years.

NEBİ Demir is the other Co-Founder of EISA. He is an English teacher having experience in all levels of education from Pre-School to Adult Education for a period of 16 years. He worked as a Translator for the Ministry of Defence and also has experience in EU granted Projects for almost 12 years.
